Overview
Swiftask onboarding is a personalized, guided process designed to help your organization get started with the platform. Whether you're brand new to Swiftask or already have an account, our expert team will walk you through the essentials, help you set up your workspace, and identify the use cases that matter most to your business.
Onboarding is included with your subscription and consists of two hours of guided sessions with a Swiftask expert. It's not about solving everything in one goβit's about giving you a solid foundation and a clear direction for what comes next.
Prerequisites
Before your onboarding begins, you'll need:
A Swiftask subscription (Team Starter, Team Growth, or Team Tailored)
At least one team member with Owner or Admin role to represent your organization
Basic familiarity with your organization's workflow and goals (optional but helpful)
Note: Swiftask will coordinate with you to schedule your onboarding sessions. A representative from our team will contact you.
Step-by-step guide
Before your onboarding
Before your first session with a Swiftask expert, here's what you should know:
You'll receive a calendar invite β Swiftask will send you meeting details for your onboarding sessions via email.
Prepare your team β If you're brand new, have at least one person from your team ready to participate. If you already have an account, bring someone familiar with your current setup.
Think about your goals β Consider what you want to achieve with Swiftask. What problems are you trying to solve? What workflows do you want to automate? Having some initial ideas helps the expert tailor the sessions to your needs.
Gather your team information β If you're new, have a list of team members ready (names and emails) so you can add them during the setup phase.
During your onboarding
Your onboarding consists of three sessions totaling two hours. Here's what happens in each:
Session 1: Account setup & feature overview (30 minutes)
In this session, a Swiftask expert will:
Create your account (if you're brand new) or review your existing setup (if you already have one)
Add your team members to your workspace and explain roles and permissions
Walk you through the interface β Show you where to find key features and how to navigate the platform
Explain core functionality β Introduce the main modules and what they do
What you'll learn:
How to access Swiftask and manage your workspace
How to invite colleagues and manage team permissions
Overview of Swiftask's main features (Chat, Agents, Projects, Knowledge Base, Artifacts, Meetings)
Session 2: Use cases & prioritization (1 hour)
In this session, you'll work with the expert to:
Discuss your current challenges β Share what you're trying to accomplish and what pain points you're facing
Identify potential use cases β Explore how Swiftask can address your specific needs
Prioritize your goals β Together, you'll agree on which use cases to focus on first
Formalize your roadmap β Create a clear plan for what you'll build and in what order
Hands-on session β Learn the best practices for your first use case on Swiftask
What you'll achieve:
A shared understanding of how Swiftask fits into your workflow
A prioritized list of use cases to implement
A roadmap for the next steps
Best approach for your specific use case
Session 3: Iteration & best practices (1 hour)
In this final session, you'll:
Review what you've learned β Recap the key takeaways from the previous sessions
Discuss early results β Share any questions or challenges that came up as you explored the platform
Get best practices β Learn tips and strategies for using Swiftask effectively
Plan your next steps β Agree on how you'll move forward and what support you'll need
What happens after:
You'll have a clear understanding of how to use Swiftask
You'll know where to find help if you get stuck
You'll be ready to start building your first workflows and agents
After your onboarding
After your three sessions, you're not on your own. Continue iterating on what you learned and explore the Swiftask documentation for deeper dives into specific features.
Tips & best practices
Make the most of your onboarding sessions:
Come prepared β Have your team's goals and challenges in mind. The more specific you are, the more tailored the expert can make the sessions.
Ask questions β Don't hesitate to ask for clarification or examples. The expert is there to help you understand how Swiftask works for YOUR use case.
Take notes β Write down the key takeaways and action items from each session so you can refer back to them later.
Start small β Don't try to implement everything at once. Focus on your top priority use case first, then expand from there.
Iterate and learn β After onboarding, spend time exploring the platform. Try creating a simple agent or workflow to reinforce what you learned.
